How to Become a Covenant Partner (member) of the Church

Anyone can become a member of the Esoteric Interfaith Church by taking our new member classes (called the Catechumen Course), studying our Our Tenets (What we believe), and filling out the membership questionaire.  We call our members Covenant Partners and/or Credants of the Way.  There are certain responsibilities for members, see below.

Covenant Partner Responsibilities, Duties

Partners of the Covenant or Credants of the Way should be spiritually minded and at least attempting to live a high-principled life.  They should have a thirst for inner experience and spiritual knowledge.  We're talkin' deep religion here, as opposed to the shallow exoteric mainstream.

Also, you might be asked to perform functions on the physical realm, such as greeting new members or helping with a study group.  And technically all members/partners are expected to pay tithe, one tenth of your earnings, either monthly or weekly, to further the work of esoterica and the church.

Once you become a Covenant partner or credant you may also join our Religious Order (a modern priesthood for both men and women), and/or follow the path to ordination as a Deacon/essa and then Minister or Priest.

Read Inner Christianity: A Guide to the Esoteric Tradition.  It is a perfect overview of our tradition and we use it almost like a textbook.  You can even take our set of lessons based on the book if you are interested and our Tenets page has several excerpts and a picture of the book, plus info on other like-minded books.
